The online Connectional Giving course provides church leaders a holistic and biblical view of generosity. The course empowers participants to become missional storytellers who can inspire others to give generously by sharing inspiring, compelling stories.

Course Start Date:

Connectional Giving is an open enrollment course; students can register for this class at any time. Students will have access to the online course for three months starting from the day of registration.

What will I learn?

By the end of this course, you will able to:

  • Explain the biblical and theological basis for giving.
  • Understand more about how The United Methodist Church is a connectional church
  • Use "missional storytelling" to create a culture of generosity
  • Set a plan "to make the ask" in your congregation for the giving of gifts, time, talents, prayers, etc.
